Jake Zier racing in the runabout class 2nd time ever racing a runabout.
Last weekend I race the UWP/ IJSBA National Tour in Racine, Wisconsin. We arrived Friday around noon and put the Yamaha FZR limited in the water, and everything was great. Tim Neff had my ski running awsome, Dean Charrier of Dean’s Team has put alot of time working on my props. So Saturday Morning we get to the race site early and run 2 practice sessions, then wait for our 1st moto. On the start I am in 3rd, and hold that position until the last lap when my supercharger clutch let go. It was brand new. When the ski lost power I immediately shut it down to avoid more damage and was towed in.
Hey thats racing!
