I have been one busy guy lately, even after being home and settle from my amazing 2013 jet ski tour it is a lot of work trying to keep the ball rolling and prepare for whats next! After I got back from Poland I went to Lake Havasu City AZ for the opportunity to meet with sponsors and try to determine what will be in store for next season. I am very excited to try and make big things happen for this coming year. As of now I am trying to sell my 2012 Rickter FR-2 EVO 1 that I competed on this season in order to get a financial jump on what is in store for next year.
I currently have a 2014 Rickter XFS Competition Ninja and a 2014 Rickter FR-2 EVO 1 on order from Rickter composites to get me prepared for both surf and freestyle next season. With the two skis matching Black/Carbon fiber and green they should be pretty amazing looking and performing machines. I will be running Dasa engines, Skat- Trak Pumps and basically every amazing component that RRP makes. the smaller stuff will be sorted out after the bulk of the expenses are covered.
With the big plans of building 2 new competition skis for next year I was extremely fortunate to be hired back on a hydro-electric power plant project for Dawson Construction, in Ketchikan Alaska right when I got home. Most people my age could never make such a big undertaking of building 2 $25,000 jet skis happen but I am determined to do so. With the help of all my amazing sponsors both in Alaska and in the watercraft industry it will hopefully come together for me. I am also trying to plan my events for next season and the first possible trip will be in early February to Australia for the Huck N Hold event. This will be the first stop on the IFWA World Freeride Tour. If I can make it to this event I will start gaining my points for the world tour. There should be 3-5 events this year on the tour all over the world. This it is a goal to try and take all my hard work and compete against the best in the world, all over the world and see how I stack up against them.
I am awaiting my 2013 Tanman Freeride poster being designed by Ronny Mac of ProRider Magazine.
Also exciting news Mark Haleston from MPS/HD just finished up his promotional video for myself. He came to the Blowsion Surf Slam and caught some awesome quality footage of myself. Be sure to watch the video, I have the link posted below:
So for now I am working away in Alaska trying to square my finances away and plan out every detail of what is in store for the future. I am very fortunate, thankful and excited for what I was able to achieve this season and feel like every year I take one more big step towards being one of the most elite jet ski freeriders in the world. The ideas and preparations running through my mind are very vast! So I am hastily at work and hope to have lots of show soon! I plan to keep the momentum rolling while I am young. I wake up everyday excited to be here on this earth and I enjoy working for the things that I am and am proud of what I have accomplished. The people who have made my dreams possible so far in my career, I thank you.
