Liquid Militia Team Rider, Chris MacClugage is gearing up for the first ever World Offshore Championships. True to its name he’s going to travel half way around the world and land in Vladivostok, Russia. He will be racing around several islands for approximately 1500 Km of open water racing covering 5 days.
Here is a interview of Chris prior to the event kicking off.
Eight international countries are represented however Chris is the sole American standout representing our country with the Red White and Blue. He will have a Bombardier Sea Doo offshore race prepped RXPX ready to go on race day. “I think it’s cool going to Russia and being the only American there and hopefully bring home a World Championship for the USA” adds Chris.
Chris will be navigating his Sea Doo RXPX, Monster energy fueled endurance race boat through a series of challenging days. This area of Russia can produce some dynamic water conditions, testing man and machine to see who can beat the distance, fatigue, and keep their boat running hard day after day.
This is the course that Chris will be running for this long race.
Chris is the most well rounded racer of all time, his arsenal of Offshore Championships can add one more trophy to the lineup come September, right before the World Finals in his hometown of Lake Havasu Az.
